The complete Long Yang form is split into three 'sections' or parts, executed consecutively. The separate parts, however can also be treated individually and practised on their own.
part one:
[ moves 1-10 ] preparation to stork spreads wings
[ moves 11-20 ] brush left knee to cross hands
part two:
[ moves 1-10 ] carry tiger & return to mountain to slant flying
[ moves 11-20 ] lift hands to grasp sparrows tail left
[ moves 21-30 ] grasp sparrows tail right to separate left foot
[ moves 31-40 ] turn & kick with left heel to hit tiger right
[ moves 41-47 ] right heel kick to cross hands
part three:
[ moves 1-10 ] carry tiger & return to mountain to grasp sparrows tail right
[ moves 11-20 ] grasp sparrows tail rollback to grasp sparrows tail right
[ moves 21-30 ] grasp sparrows tail rollback to repulse monkey
[ moves 31-40 ] slant flying to apparent closure
[ moves 41-50 ] grasp sparrows tail left to cross hands & kick left heel
[ moves 51-60 ] step forward & punch with fist to step back & ride tiger
[ moves 61-66 ] turn body & sweep lotus to conclusion
